Toiletpaper has opened its first shop in Milan to celebrate printing one million copies of the magazine, selling products it has designed together with other brands.

Open until 2 October, the temporary store will stock furniture that Toiletpaper’s founders Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari worked on with Italian brand Gufram, and homeware with Seletti.

The space is a fully immersive version of the magazine, with point of sale displays covered in vivid and surreal background imagery, and rugs, prints and furniture all conveying Toiletpaper’s bizarre, postmodernist aesthetic. The range with Seletti includes plates, cups, bowls, tablecloths and more.

To celebrate the million-copy milestone in the style of the music industry, Toiletpaper is also collaborating with The Vinyl Factory to release a special edition gold vinyl of Daft Punk’s 1995 Da Funk, with the first 100 records available to buy in store ahead of the global launch in October.

The Toiletpaper store is on via Vincenzo Capelli, Porta Nuova, Milan, until 2 October.
