London College of Fashion (LCF), part of University of the Arts London, staged its annual BA catwalk show last night featuring 17 graduate collections. A collaborative series by Sam Thompson and George Oxby was awarded Collection of the Year for their collection of draped layers in dark greys, browns and blues, with oversized parka coats, baggy trousers and sweaters, worn by masked and hooded models.

The winner was chosen by a panel including Steve Salter, digital editor of i-D; Stavros Karelis, founder and buying director of Machine-A; Steve Morriss, executive fashion director of LOVE; Emma Hope Allwood, fashion features editor of Dazed Digital; and Frances Corner, head of LCF. The collections were styled by LCF’s creative director of fashion and design, Rob Phillips.

The collections can be viewed at the BA2016 exhibition open until 9 June in Shoreditch, London.
