Listening By Design: three creatives talk home, studios, workflow and the music that inspires them

This London Design Festival, It’s Nice That have teamed up with sound experts Sonos to host Listening By Design an evening of talks at the Sonos Studio in east London which will explore the ways music affects creativity over the course of a day.

It’s Nice That’s Editor Owen Pritchard will be interviewing a trio of music-obsessed creatives about their homes, lives and work, discussing their favourite tracks and the influence on the work they produce. He will be joined by photographer and founder-editor of hip-hop magazine BRICK Hayley-Louisa Brown; Ninja Tune-signed rapper, illustrator and art director Kieren Gallear aka Dels; and graphic designer Ben Drury, whose work includes the album cover of Dizzee Rascal’s scene-shaping debut album Boy In Da Corner.

The event will take place at the Sonos Studio, 21 Club Row, London E2 7EY on Tuesday 20 September. Doors open at 6.30pm and the talks will run from 7pm to 9pm. Tickets are free and can be reserved at the Eventbrite page here or below.
