Stay productive and creative over summer with the Adobe Summer School

Date
24 August 2016

To help creatives stay productive over the summer months, Adobe has curated a series of videos, tutorials and assets in one platform, called Adobe Summer School. Featuring video masterclasses in animation, photography, illustration and UX, and highlights from leading design events around the world, the site is an invaluable resource for creatives of all sorts.

A masterclass with animator and designer James Curran offers step-by-step guidance on how to make an animated gif; and another by Studio Veryday gives professional advice on UX design. Adobe’s Richard Curtis gives an in-depth lecture on how to use the company’s suite of programmes to make incredible photography projects.

Films from Adobe’s Creative Meet Up event in July show highlights from the evening of talks, such as Adobe’s Rufus Deuchler, who shows how to re-create lost masterpieces using entirely Adobe Stock.

Video highlights from OFFF 2016 include an illustration masterclass with Dan Mumford, showing his painstaking creation process in intricate detail.

There’s also short tutorials on Adobe Stock, Photoshop, Illustrator, Capture and other programmes, and a host of downloadable assets to kickstart any project.
