Templo's identity for Creative Journeys aims to highlight importance of art and design at GCSE

Creative agency Templo has designed the identity for The Sorrell Foundation’s Creative Journeys initiative, which aims to emphasis the value of art and design to Year 8 and 9 students and their parents when selecting GCSE subjects.

Temple also created a promotional film for the initiative, which expands upon the identity’s unifications of the words “creative” and “journeys.”

“We created an identity where the ‘Journeys’ letters are extruded to form the more fluid letterforms of the word ‘Creative’. The final result allowed us to either cycle through waves of colour or build layer by layer,” says Templo. “The personality and tone of identity adapts to the audience. It is fun, vibrant and lively when speaking to young people and is more serious when speaking to teachers, parents and governing bodies.”
