Erotic journal Odiseo explores laughter and loathing in its ninth volume (NSFW)

Date
1 December 2016

The ninth edition of erotic journal Odiseo, designed by Folch Studio, is released today with a cover shot by Alexandra Von Fuerst. Following the theme of Laughter and Loathing the issue concentrates on exploring the ideas of provocation, irony and satire. The cover story is a surreal photo essay by Alexandra that explores sexual fetishes accompanied by a series of still lives of hedonic clay sculptures. Also in the issue Megan Cullen shoots “a sisterly artistic sublime orchestrated in the desert,” Marlen Keller publishes Honey a ‘“fuzzy’”one woman show, and Atelier Cristina Ramos directs a sensual still life story.

Alongside the photography, essays in the issue include an excerpt from the satirical screenplay The White Slave by writer and director Rene Daalder and architect Rem Koolhaas; Army of Love, a manifesto for Completist Love by Ingo Niermann; and filmmaker and writer Joe Fletcher provides a reflection on the seminal and controversial novel Crash by JG Ballard.
