This month’s Nicer Tuesdays is on the subject of public art, bringing together four talks from creatives who approach the subject in their own unique way.
Joining us is Holly Gramazio, a freelance games designer based in London who specialises in making intriguing, one-off cultural events and installations for public spaces, as well as Kirsten Dunne, the Senior Cultural Officer responsible for programming and curating the Fourth Plinth, one of the UK’s most talked about contemporary art platforms in London’s Trafalgar Square.
Also joining us is Emma Enderby, curator at The Serpentine Galleries, taking us behind-the-scenes of the Serpentine Pavilion, an annual temporary summer structure now about to celebrate its 15th year, as well as Alex Chinneck, artist and the master of illusions, talking us through his weird and wonderful selection of public art projects including the 35-metre high upside-down electricity pylon due to be unveiled as part of this years London Design Festival.
The beers will be on us as always!
