Empowerment, collage and the art of tennis balls at Nicer Tuesdays August - get tickets now!

Date
16 August 2016

This month’s Nicer Tuesdays talks are sure to inspire, provoke and possibly even hypnotise. Get your tickets now for 30 August.

Photographer Steph Wilson is currently causing quite a stir with her powerful and provocative imagery. She’ll be chatting about her recent work, which includes Emoji,  a series for Dazed that tackles social media censorship in her own striking and witty way.

Mark Edwards is one half of design studio DR.ME and co-author of Cut That Out, a book charting contemporary collage in graphic design. He’ll be picking out the artists he thinks are leading the way in avant-garde collage.

Formerly of Vice and AMV BBDO, brand consultant and writer Otegha Uwagba has launched Women Who, a network for creative working women. She’ll be talking about her initiative which aims to connect, support and inspire women, and has so far published a book of advice and held live events.

Benedict Redgrove is a filmmaker and photographer with an acute eye for composition in the most austere or unexpected surroundings. We recently featured his hypnotic film Tennis Ball for ESPN, which captures the manufacturing process at the Wilson tennis ball factory in Thailand.

Tickets are available now for 30 August.
