Join us for our art school-themed Nicer Tuesdays!

Date
8 September 2015

As summer ends it’s back to school for many, which is why this month’s Nicer Tuesdays is celebrating all things art school-related! We’re bringing together four speakers who each have opinions and stories to tell.

Joining us is James Hilton, previously chief creative officer of design giant AKQA, who was famously told by his university that “there’s nothing more we can teach you. Get out there and start doing something,” as well as Dean Brown, an experimental designer who’s been a long-term resident and senior consultant at Fabrica, a design research centre based in Italy.

Also joining us is Zelda Malan, senior lecturer on the BA Graphic Design course at Kingston University who wrote this wonderful opinion piece for us On the importance of teaching ideas to design students, as well as Darryl Clifton, the Design Programme Leader and Course Director for BA Illustration at Camberwell.

Beers will be on us, as ever!
