Here 2015 Speaker Profile: Innovative photographic duo Blommers Schumm

Date
30 April 2015

You can tell that Here 2015 is almost upon us as we present our final speakers, photographic duo Blommers Schumm. When it comes to client lists, few photographers can boast the breadth or quality of commissions that Anuschka Blommers and Niels Schumm have worked on. The Dutch duo started out working on still-life and portrait projects before branching out into fashion.

They excel at rethinking the customs and conventions of whichever genre they’re working in, and their star has risen exponentially as they’ve built a peerless reputation for sexy, stylish, witty and original shoots for magazines, fashion brands and their own creative pleasure.

As well as Blommers Schumm, this year’s Here speakers are digital guru Iain Tait, Grand Budapest Hotel graphic designer Annie Atkins, ManvsMachine’s Mike Alderson, designer-turned-artist Scott King, karlssonwilker’s Hjalti Karlsson and SHOWstudio editor Lou Stoppard.

We’ll also be welcoming set designer Anna Lomax, illustrator Jordy van den Nieuwendijk, graphic designer Charlotte Heal and Nathan Cowen and Jacob Klein, the brains behind Haw-lin.
