Eight Inc. produce a plug-in that removes the word cancer from the internet

The simplest ideas can often be the most powerful, and that’s certainly the case with Eight Inc.’s new work for Cancer Research UK. Tomorrowww is a browser plug-in that removes the word cancer from your online experience, a practical yet potent way of visualising a future when the battle against the disease has been won.

Matt Judge and his team at Eight worked with writer Peter Kirby and programmer Alkaline to create Tomorowww which is the first in a series of collaborations to help the cancer charity launch its Women of Influence initiative.

There’s a nice combination of following the idea through to maximise the plug-in’s impact and some predictably strong design work by the Eight Inc. guys. Great design for a great cause is something we can definitely get behind!
