In the words of Alan Partridge : “Cashback!” It’s the weekend, and the time you’ve all been waiting for: the bits and bobs from across the online world that It’s Nice That reckons are the Best of the Web.

Over on Nowness architect Ian Simpson gives us a nosey around his incredible apartment, naturally designed by him (Emily)

The Fixperts create a guitar pick for John. An inspiring short film about design. (Owen)

This is class – Only Playing the Good Shit: Noisey Meets Zane Lowe (Callum)

Some amazing photographs of the huge collections at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. (Beccy)

The Guardian is spot on when it describes Larry Levan as “the DJ who changed dance music forever.” A lovely piece interviewing the DJ’s friends and peers, and tracing his journey towards becoming “the most influential DJ of all time” (Emily)

Seriously impressed by this guy’s YoYo skills (Ali)

Here’s a cool music video by Trunk Animation’s Rok Predin for ex Beta Band man Steve Mason’s new solo single Alive. Some very cool 16-bit video game type stuff. (Emily)

The What Kind of Men Read Playboy? campaign ran for over 15 years in the mag and it was a way for Hugh Hefner to convince advertisers that men were looking at anything but the nudey pics. This collection of the ads shows off the kitsch photography and cheesy copy perfectly. (Beccy)
