Adobe Stock launches Aesthetic Filters, making image searching even easier

In the two years since Adobe Stock was rolled out, the Adobe archive has grown to an astounding 90 million+ assets, meaning that for any creative project you’re working on, Adobe can provide high quality photos, videos, graphics and illustrations.

So many assets, so little time? Luckily, Adobe has announced a new timesaving feature to expand the ease with which you can find the most appropriate stock assets for any creative project.

Introducing Aesthetic Filters powered by Adobe Sensei, a revolutionary search technology building on the like-for-like image-matching ability of its Visual Search feature – launched back in November 2016 – which allowed Adobe users to drag a still image into their browser to quickly find one similar. But if you’re struggling to find the perfect image for a project, Aesthetic Filters now enables you to search for images through their aesthetic characteristics, beginning with Depth of Field and Vivid Colour. What’s more, Adobe Stock is now integrated beyond Creative Cloud for direct use within Microsoft PowerPoint. Adobe users can download the Adobe Stock Add-On for PowerPoint for free to bring Adobe’s 90 million asset-strong library directly into presentations.

The launch of Aesthetic Filters is bolstered by a set of new partnerships with Reuters, USA Today Sports and Stocksy, adding to Adobe’s existing partnerships with Pond5 and 500px and meaning you get access to the very best news, sports, entertainment and lifestyle images. So you’ll never be stuck with a dull stock image again.
